Now that "O" has secured his job for the remander of the year, and our triple threat coach/coordinators coaching model experiment seems to have a chance, can we all get behind this team as a united fan base. The Tigers gave everything they had to pull out a win Saturday. As fans, we need to do the same.

Update: 10/16/2017 10:30 a.m. - 15 down votes by asking everyone to get behind this team. They TRant is worse than ever.

When has the fan base ever been truly 100% united?

As fans it really doesn't matter whether we're united on a message board.

In all honesty, it would make this place pretty boring.

I'd like to think we all want to win. It feels like some people don't though. I'm not an O fan, but I want him to win every game. Why? Because he coaches my damn Tigers! That's why.

it really is this simple.

some folks are off their rocker wanting LSU to lose because they don't like orgeron. i have no fricking insight into that line of thought.

i don't like 0 either, but why in the hell would I root against LSU because of it?

have been saying this for weeks ...
some people's ego and hatred are more important to them than the Tigers are.

Go Tigers....Etling offensive player of week....What an awesome win...O still sucks and his best move is to leave the two coaches we hired alone to win games for us.

You do understand that if you pay top tier salary for a head coach, you can't afford those coordinators? That is the new model we are trying.

Fine. How about we do what every other college football program does, and hire a top tier head coach and then hire quality assistants? why are we under the impression that we somehow just discovered some fantastic new way to do things, instead of simply choosing with eyes wide open a way no one else thinks is smart?

The old model of hiring the best possible head coach seems to be working at all the current top programs, does it not? Anyone suggesting they fire Nick and try our new triune model over in Tuscaloosa?

I've said this in several prior posts.

If this new model worked, then every organization in the world would already be using it. Hire a cheerleader as the head of an organization for half the price, and then have him hire great assistants, and be hands-off.

But it won't work, because unless the leader has the respect of the staff, players, and organization, it will ultimately fail.

I can't believe that LSU fans think Alleva stumbled onto a wonderful new paradigm in executive management.

Except it DOES seem as though the staff and players respect him and want to play/coach hard for him. Thus negating your bullshite comment about hiring a cheerleader as a head coach.

Seems like there are many more people talking about "those" people who want LSU to lose than there are people who actually want LSU to lose. I have rarely seen that during all this. There were certainly many people critical of Orgeron and Alleva (I'm one of them) but that does not equal wanting LSU to lose. I think you and many of the Orgeron super supporters are building a strawman.
