If you were told that you would get the exact same results from LSU football for the next 7 years that you have from the last 7 years would you be in favor of a removing Les Miles as Head Coach right now?

If you knew his coaching weaknesses would remain as they are.
If you knew there would be no change in his coaching style and philosophy.
If you knew the won-loss record would be the same.
If you knew the amount of championships would be the same.
If what you have received from Les Miles in the past is exactly what you will get in the future
do you want him gone today?

Life is a game of opportunities. Right now, life is beating Les Miles

the ultimate answer is this:

we just want him to fix this offense. if this year's screwed, then fine. but fix it in the offseason.

make it an overhaul, keep who you must, but more importantly, demote/get rid of who you must.

Football may be beating Miles right now, but life sure isn't - he has great health, a wonderful family, and makes 4 million per year...

If you knew the end of the book would you still read it? Do you wake up in the morning stimulated by the thought of under achievement?

So we'd have a Natty once in every 7 years and an amazing win loss record, bowl record, BCS record, etc?

This is a serious question?

None of those questions matter. The only question that matters is whether this team is being all that it can be.

It is not. Not by a long shot. The offense has top ten talent, but bottom third performance.

People are upset with Miles because his offenses always underperform. It is a waste of talent and a waste of the opportunity to win another national championship.

Miles is getting paid $4 mm a year to get his teams to over achieve, not underperform.

Amen...Nick Saban does not have problem winning NC with the same level of talent that LSU recruits.

My opinion of anyone who says "Yes" to the question posed is that you have expectations that are unrealistic. It has been my experience in following college football since the 1960's that there is a MUCH higher probability that we will do worse than Les Miles than the probability that we will do better in regards to a possible replacement. The percentage and potential for upside and rewards that may follow are greatly overshadowed by high percentages for a deep and dark downturn in the program with a coaching change.

That is reality.

From the results I have seen in the past seven years I would prefer to take my chances with Les Miles.

I never get tired of all the "little girls" that post on this board. Nellie Olson was a lot more mature than this bunch of whiny bitches. You won't be happy until you drive LSU back to the "Good Ole Days"....7-3, 6-5, 7-4, etc.....

Same argument that people used to make for keeping Charlie Mac. Mack Brown, Mark Richt, Phil Fulmer, fall into the same category. Too good to fire, but rarely produce championships. Good enough if second place suits you.

Maybe, but is 7-5 that much worse than 9-3. Neither is a championship season.
