You can see on tv initially that it wasn't close. BS call.

If Bama winning vs LSU gives the SEC a better chance of getting two teams in CFP, then the SEC literally has tens of millions in incentives to officiate in their favor.

The refs were "creating drama".

Game wasn't close and OM needed help.

So, this happens. It happens often. It's entertainment!

I'd like to see a pic. I hate when they don't show a good replay on TV. The initial camera angle was to the left, so it was difficult to tell.

Just wait until next Saturday. Screw job incoming. Ole Miss was just the warm up. Under no circumstances will LSU be allowed to steal one from Bama. The edict has been issued.
uh, you do realize that Alabama is the most penalized team in the SEC this year, and the 5th worst in the country.

Guess those dastardly cheating refs haven't received the memo yet.

"Coach should have challenged but for him do that he needed to know quick if a worthy challenge. Obvious communication issues there to not quest that quickly from the booth and get the ball back.
I know we kicked the their asses eventually but man those are turning point type plays. Lucky"

THIS TIMES A MILLION!

Could we have just called a TO there and let the crew review? Is that just NFL rules?

It felt like there was a screw job brewing but it didn’t matter what they did. Feel like we beat the Black Bear Landsharks and the Zebras.

Like, not even fricking close. That was some bad, bad officiating Saturday.

We need WilliamTaylor to make a gif of money cascading out of that ref's pockets as he's making the first-down call!

That would be some funny shite, right there, I'm tellin' ya!

Dirty little ref secret. When you get a first down, they don't mark the ball exactly where you went down, they round to the yard line and reset the sticks. The line to gain for a first down is always coincident with a yard line, never in between.

That’s ridiculous. It appeared to be probably short, but it was a lot closer to a first down than it was to one yard short.

Had no idea about BK hating instant replay . I guess this is the reason BK never challenges Anything ? I’ll be screaming “We have Instant Replay,Challenge it” but he hasn’t challenged one time !

correct. I said the same thing in another post.

I like this change because it means almost no measuring is required, which slows the game way down, and it makes it easier for the refs. If a ref thinks a ball carrier got to the yard line, it's a first down. The ref make a quick decision to keep the game moving.

uh, Ole Miss had 10 penalties for 111 yards. We had 8 penalties for 71 yards.

Take off the P&G glasses, and actually look at the numbers.

The world isn't out to cheat LSU.

and next weekend they will conveniently not be the most penalized team in the conference. If I’m wrong, I’ll eat my crow. But when it comes to Bama/LSU, the officiating always seems to turn a blind eye to egregious stuff in favor of Bama.

PP7 INT
blatant spearing agains JJ9 from the same game.

How many times have we all seen Bama O-Line hold their asses off and no flags hit the field?

I hope we take care of business enough so the officiating becomes a non-factor.
