eta: didn't know about the national guard thing. That's great, and I'm happy they are honoring them. They deserve it, but still don't like the hats. Just an opinion

Reb, I meant I'm not getting why someone would trash talk the team by ragging on their hats which are obviously in support of the troops.

because just like Ole Miss, we have a few "suspect" fans as well.
it's a good field too. if anyone knew how much water it took the past two days, the fact they are getting 3 games in is amazing.

regarding the hats,
I think its presumptuous for a team in college or pro's,
to 'honor' anything or anyone but the team members.
No one playing baseball is a 'warrior'.
camo hats for the baseball team is JINGOism.

there are good ways to honor the troops without wearing those ugly ugly hats, bring in a large American flag, have some special design on the field to honor the troops like flag where you usually have the ole miss sign in the infield or if your good enough put an American flag in the grass design but obviously they aren't
