not to defend BDP too much, but he didn't coach LBs while Welter was here. that was all Chief.

He isn't going to do shite at OM with their bagmen held in check. He benefitted more from LSU in recruiting than the other way around.

He had absolutely nothing to do with their success! You're blubbering idiot to insinuate that he did!

It speaks volumes that BDP goes to a program that is headed to sanctions and that his strong point is recruiting.
It is easy to conclude neither side had many options.

May be the only one but I think BDP is ok as an LB coach. He coached them under Pelini and I don't recall there being many complaints then. But if Freeze is gonna have him coaching both LB's and ST's - big mistake. And BDP is a very good recruiter.

That's the thing that really is worrying to me. It sucks that he went to a rival western division opponent. Too bad he couldn't have gone to Missouri or South Carolina instead.

One thing I will say about Coach BDP, I heard that after he was fired, he called all of the guys he'd been recruiting for LSU and still urged them to come here. That was a very class act on his part.

BDP is a ne'er to be forgotten component of the Malveto co_DC era at LSU.

That's gangster.

Ole Miss may get some dirt on LSU.

I respect the move.

There are a lot of folks who think BDP is an incompetent coach. I've never heard anyone say he was unethical.
I don't assume he would talk about LSU shop while at Ole Miss nor that he would be pressured to do so.
As best I can tell Les always ran a pretty clean program,
