These are the clear no brainers IMO
1940's Steve Van Buren
1950's Billy Cannon
1960's Jerry Stovall
1970's Charles Alexander
1980's Dalton Hilliard
1990's Kevin Faulk
Here is where I need some help:
2000's - Hester (if I wanted a win - Toefield for the score.)
2010 - Discuss could be Buga BUT... Guice may actually end up better...

Scott and Vincent(pre-injury) were better than Hester too. Not that he wasn't great that year('07), we just had a lot of other good ones too.

Hester was not the best back of the 2000s

Hmm.... I know he gets most of the attention. But I think an argument can be made for Jimmy Taylor.

I agree with most of that. As much as I like Hester, I would not have him on the list. 2010's - LF7 so far. Guice TBD.

LF7 is the best at running hard and fast through a wide open hole. Guice is better at everything else.

I'd go with Addai personally. Addai was even harder/ tougher imho than Hester. I will never forget watching him singlehandedly wreck UF in Gainesville . Out brute backs love wrecking Florida. Otherwise that looks about right.

a lot can be said about Taylor as a pro no doubt, but Cannon was head and shoulders better in college. Cannon was special football player.

Buga is the most overrated back in LSU history...maybe NCAA history. Yeah sure, he destroyed Syracuse....demolished an Auburn defense that wasn't worth shite and of course ran through that soft arse Aggie D. J.D. Moore was the reason LF7 looked so great. Watch every run with Moore and every run without Moore. night and day. Guice is far more talented and it is not even close.

Whenever I see "it's not even close" in an argument it's almost never true. Why be disingenuous?

J.D. Moore creates a wide open hole...LF7 looks like a god.

Another wide open hole and dumb AUB defenders falling down and running into eachother..LF7 just had to run straight... looks like a god.

Again.. J.D. creates a hole big enough for a 18 wheeler..and LF7 just has to run straight...looks like a god...

Kewl, USC was total butt cheese in 2015. And the first gif Fournette broke like 37 tackles, not sure why you're acting like that was all JD Moore

without that block by J.D. LF7 is not allowed to build up speed and power... and It is likely a 6 yard run
