LSU fans are rough but that's big time baseball. i can see if a person is from a small town in oklahoma and comes to baton rouge where the fans worship LSU and college baseball and are very vocal it would take a little while to adjust. nice post and i wish y'all luck next year.

You could tell that gray's mom was trash and an idiot from her Facebook page that was posted yesterday.

To be honest the OU fans in 2004 were generally bad. They expected LSU to lay down for their team and didn't handle it well when they didn't.

Yeah, I think it is just a difference in cultures. LSU fans can get rowdy, OU fans take offense thinking it is something personal, LSU fans then think what the hell are you upset about, etc. etc.

appreciate it. my wife graduated from lsu and we live in new orleans. i've been to more lsu games in the last four years than i have ou games.

Or in the very least, stared straight ahead and showed no emotion. At least then, a photo taken from an angle with Gray walking back to the mound couldn't be used by fodder from OU fans that their pitcher was getting taunted.

I haven't seen their board. But I was sitting just to the side behind the LSU dugout. JJ was celebrating to his teammates in the dugout, not the pitcher. If you look at the pic, you can see his eyes are looking at the dugout. It's just the angle, and when snapped, pitcher is walking back to mound.

Someone should start farking random game shots of LSU players doing all kinds of crazy shite to the OU players, and sending them to their boards. Looks like they will believe anything.

ha, if they are being bitter that is ridiculous. why on earth wouldn't jones celebrate after such a clutch hit. it was just a great game all the way around. the only thing that any OU fan should be mad about is our inability to score a runner on third with one out.
