Its honestly complete bullshite that the 64 best teams dont get in tournament and that a team like LSU is in jeopardy of not making it when they could realistically be better than about 30 teams that actually do make the tournament. How can it be taken seriously when its not the best 64 teams?

We aren't.

We are a good team and will cruise into the tournament.

Please stop being so sure because usually when you're really sure of something on TD it doesn't end up happening. :|

This happens every year, and it works out just fine. Those "teams like LSU" that are good but get left out, are good/decent majors, that had their chances. They couldn't get it done in their conferences against better teams, teams that will be in the round of 8 and above. Those unknown, "worse" teams that nobody knows, you'll have a couple make runs, and that more than makes up for it. Nobody cares if (for example) Cal gets a first round win, but if Austin Peay does, it's a great thing for the game.

It's pretty hard to figure out where LSU is, objectively. The record is disappointing, but we are passing the eye test right now. Simmons helps, but the rest of the team does too: you have a classic gunner in Hornsby that could go off; a lanky scorer in Quarterman that could go off; a quick guard in Gray. These are players that aren't going to be physically outclassed by any team, and if we get one or 2 to put it together the same time that Simmons has a strong game, we can beat anyone.

I mean we are definitely one of the 25 best teams right now. Actually being ranked there is a problem because of our difficulties early on. If you put LSU in the National Title Game we would have a great shot at winning IMO. Its just we also have a great shot at losing in the first round. lol

Lsu had votes before the loss to oklahoma, but apparently losing to oklahoma by 2 points made those guys take lsu out of the top 25.

With our complete lineup from day one we would be in Top 25. All of he early bad losses wouldn't have occurred . And we'd solidly in the T. Now we need to finish top 3 in league to go as a 8-10 seed. I see that happening The BEN EFFECT is strong TV.
