I'm surprised how many questions there are on this. If you watched them play, it was pretty clear both played extremely poorly and had attitudes detrimental to team play. What the particulars were behind the scene, no one really knows. Go watch the Colorado game again and listen to the court audio and who was yelling down 20 and what they were saying.
Those players were the ones that ended up sitting.
