Do we roll Leslie's contract and increase his buyout back up to the high amount? All Les supporters to the front.

Extension is one thing - huge buyout was horrendous.

I personally wouldn't until we see how next year plays out. Remember, many considered him one of the worst coaches in the conference/America after the Tennessee game.

Roll his contract over, absolutely. As much as I don't want it, I think once the contract rolls over, the buyout goes back up as well.

I am a Miles fan and supporter. We should NOT roll over his contract.

$3.8M/yr is enough. We do not need more years on the contract. Next year, a BCSMNC should make him highest again and roll-over. If he wants to leave under those terms, well, It's been nice.

We should wait until we see if he fires GC.

Bump. This thread sums up the pickle LSU is in and it was self inflicted. Given Miles a raise and an extension and the already insane buyout of $15 million goes up. There really is not much room to rework the contract. If the buyout is increased, it will be perceived at best as an act of desperation.
