Well, how you feel is really all that matters isn’t it?

Don’t get your hopes up. He’s not improved. 6-6 with a running qb. Maybe 8-4 and we can be A&M… I need a drink.

Where the frick is this notion that he's the same QB coming from? Are y'all just assuming he hasn't improved?

Nobody cares that you had an idiotic opinion to begin with.

The video constantly shows a 3 man rush, with Daniels having all day to throw, lots of space to set up. Won't be like against Bama or other SEC teams.

So this is why they have been working so hard on his footwork? Awful...

This is just not reality with JD as our starter.

This is essentially saying you know more than the coaches do. What are your qualifications?

Not to mention the talent he's playing with here is a clear upgrade from what he had at ASU.

Guess Woodward should have hired you instead of Brian Kelly since you know so much

But it was a reality with Nuss or Brennan?

I am a HUGE Nuss guy and think he will lead us to our next Natty but I don't blame the coaches for naming JD the starter for many reasons:

1) The earlier they name a starter the more practice time they will have to get the actual starter ready.

2) They picked the guy with the most college starting experience. If you have to pick a guy quickly, the experience is a good separator.

3) Our OL might not be the greatest (at least to start the year) so the guy that runs the best and makes the defense have to think a bit is a good choice.

4) If JD doesn't look great, you can always pull the rip cord and play Nuss. In this scenario, the future is still bright as long as Nuss isn't Anthony Jennings level bad. If you start Nuss and he fail, even if JD salvages the season, the future looks bleak.

This is how I am rationalizing the whole situation and keeping a positive attitude going into the year.
