Players going to the NFL is the most important recruiting tool
It is a good one, but it isn't the best barometer for winning in NCAA football.

Players leaving early + Harbaugh = slim margin for error, both in recruiting and on the field. If OSU hits a bump in the road and it knocks the shine off of Urban, it will make him sick again.

Thanks to this, they are now less likely to be on our schedule next year.

Looks like another health crisis in Urban's future, and a new coach for OSU.

They play in the big 10. They will probably be fine.

Ohio State now facing what LSU has gone through
Meyer is going to stubbornly recruit QB's who can't throw a lick? Or is he going rehire some chum of his to run their special teams unit into the ground?

They have the best QB play

Guess that's why they couldn't decide on one? Urban screwed up, pretty simple.

complete multiple forward passes out of multiple formations.

Ironically this is why they lost to MSU and missed the playoff. Les Miles offense wins that game and gets in CFP

I respectfully disagree. They will have to deal with what we have and be to young and weak.

nah. LSU's problem was having 3 consecutive classes jump ship early like that and the had to play in the SEC West with improving teams all around.

Florida St didn't feel it until this year when they finally broke the record. Bama has yet to feel it and they send a lot themselves. I haven't seen Ohio St's 2016 schedule, but outside of Michigan, Michigan St, and maybe Penn St, who stands a chance at beating them. Out of all four teams, Ohio State is the only one bringing back their QB.

Penn St does seem like they will bring back damn near everybody else on offense though. But lose the top two players on their DL who also happen to be two of the top two DL players in the country. Outside of that and a SR DB, nobody else should be leaving.
