In the SEC and nationally, just curious what the rant thinks

Fwiw I would say: probably 3-4 range in the SEC and top 15 nationally

Just the ops alone? 8-10th in the SEC. Pretty far down nationally.

The upgrades are going to change it a lot. The nutrition center and the upgrade to the player's lounge/aesthetics will make it top 5 nationally.

Any pics or video to back up this claim? I have no idea, I haven't seen the rest of the SEC's ops building. I have seen Bama's and aTm's and it's definitely better, but LSU's is pretty nice.

Auburn and Ole Miss are middle tier SEC wise in facilities.

It's crazy, circa 2005 we had top 3 if not the best in the nation but everyone has improved since then. The arms race is for real. If you haven't renovated in the past decade you're pretty much obsolete nowadays.

We're considered to have top 5 facilities in the nation probably 5-7 years ago. Everyone else has upgraded and we haven't budged. We aren't even top 5 in the SEC anymore.

I'm talking about ops alone. And Florida is getting a badass IPF. Have you seen LSU's player lounge?

this is ridiculous. lsu is second to none overall in facilities. oregon or whoever might a widget that lsu doesn't have but, lsu has widgets they don't have. people who are saying otherwise have a preference for a certain kind of aesthetic and think it directly relates to operation and function

lsu "upgrades" frequently. you might not always see it but, it happens.

LSU football has the equipment but it doesn't have facilities that would impress recruits over other schools and CFB is all about recruiting great players.

Lots of money is being poured into upgrades so don't act like it's top notch where it is right now.

why not? it is. and upgrades don't mean it's not. they're just adding more and more amenities. i have toured pretty much all the facilities myself with ad staff. they're as good as anybody
