not shocked he is getting fired this year

but I am shocked that it happened so early in the season

has to be because LSU wants a "leg up" on getting their guy (Herman?)

do y'all even want Jimbo after his performance at Louisville?

What will Yaw Yaw eat? Boiled crawfish? Gumbo? Etouffee? Red beans and rice (consider it is Monday)?

While a change was needed, it's never a good thing to see someone fired from their job. Les did a great job at LSU. The hardest thing to do in sports is to sustain success and he was able to do that for an extended period of time at LSU. As an LSU fan, I wish Les the best and want to thank him for the time and effort he gave to LSU.

That said, I am excited to see what the future holds for the program in the 2016 season and beyond.

Good luck in the future Les and God bless LSU.

What is that last play would have counted? Is he still employed?

That last play helped save the program. We're elite again.

How very diplomatic of you. Les did not sustain success much after sabans footprint was officially off of the program. 1 good season in 2011 because you had a once in a generation playmaker on defense. All the clock issues, lack of team heart and will, attention to detail, etc. Les Miles has always been simply average and just benefited from the blueprint saban laid down.

Not surprised...it was time. Yet still sad to see a good man fired. When one considers his entire tenure of 12, Les Did LSU well. For that, I will always appreciate and respect the Man. However, it was time. In careers and all professions, one's performance is based on a "what have you done for me lately", and not resting on past accomplishments.
