Then the typical On-the-Road knee-down fumble call on Brad Melsby. His knee was down for what seemed like a full second, ball comes out, and the Refs could not wait to point in Miami's direction. No replay, naturally. Canes marched down and took the lead for good.

I feel like had the right call had been made, UCLA would have beaten Tennessee in that National Championship Game. That Tennessee team always seemed like the weakest undefeated team I’ve watched in my lifetime.

How about the 2006 USC game? That was a hell of a win for the Bruins! Had USC won that game, they would have went on to the National Title game and LSU would have replaced them in the Rose Bowl, which we were all excited about because that would have been LSU’s first trip to the Rose Bowl. Great win for UCLA, though.

Ran 13 miles out there this morning. Really fun to be out on the beach out there. Weather is much nicer now. Enjoy!

"How about the 2006 USC game?"

Epic. Knocked Cheatey Pete and His Steroid Boys out of the BCS title game

For us, it's all about beating SC. Even if you're 11-0, lose to them, season sucked. Chip's first year, 2-8 going in. Beat'em with Wilton Speight at QB. We were 1-0 that year!

My top three:
1980, Freeman McNeal miracle catch, Bruins win 20-17 over SC with Ronny Lott, Marcus Allen, et al

1982, Karl Morgan sack on the 2-pt. conversion wth no time left. Bruins win 20-19, beat Michigan in the Rose Bowl

2014--Anthony Barr sack on Punk Barkley ends his college career, face down on the Rose Bowl grass.

GOOD LUCK TOMORROW

I'm done posting, already made a few enemies attacking the commmies, the homeless, and me as a Gay soy boy tea-server and the like.

Looking forward to a great atmosphere at the tailgate. This will be epic and unforgettable for all of us, Tigers and Bruins, wherever we're from.

Enjoy it, we will be warm and gracious hosts.

And once inside, it is magical. It'll be loud and crazy on both sides.

Have a great time, enjoy SoCal and the Rose Bowl.

I will come back, win or lose, and offer congrats or thoughts either way. And I will follow LSU and root for you in every single game....SOS and all! :)

I parked easily and I have clear and precheck so I slid through security with ease. Unfortunately, my flight was subsequently delayed 4 fricking hours. Just now boarding for LAX on JetBlue. Even without the cheat codes I used, the lines were not that bad. Busy holiday weekend, but Austin airport is never that busy.

Bi-curious about this too. I’ll be parked on the golf course and will have an ice chest full of hard seltzers in the “frunk” of my Tesla.

"Tailgate on the golf course?"

LINK

Yep, the majority of the parking is on the two golf courses that surround the Rose Bowl to the west and north.

Lot H is the most organized, with rows and rows of trucks set up with tents, TVs, tables, BBQs, bars, etc

But the golf course is even nicer, you're literally parked right on the Fairway!

Doesn't rain enough here to ever damage the course too much, but the few times rain has fallen during a game, it takes months for the courses to recover from the tire marks!

Wish I could make Jameson’s tonight but it’s over an hour drive from Pasadena right now. Who’s gonna be at Barney’s tonight?

Getting him a late nap in right now so he can rally with his Pops
