after watching the scrimage jj has not done what it takes to learn the plays at this point he should know were his rec. are.

If jl would get over his phsychological problems he would be a great QB. .

I was a JJ fan now I would like Jl to get the nod.

He looks much better then JJ even with a pick six a game.

first 2 TDs are JJ leading the offense down and scoring (I know it was pretty much all running), then the 2nd TD for the White team is J Lee throwing a pick 6.

I think JJ has to look pretty damn bad to be replaced this year. I know he looked awful this game, but last year he did decent with a terrible O Line and no running game. J Lee had much better protection and still threw crazy interceptions.

Does piss me off to see JJ running around never throwing it though. Hopefully he gets better because I hate my life when J Lee is in the game.

Spring game <<<< La Tech game. I'm sure JL looked crisp in the practice before that game too.

JJ was NOT showing improvement. His long ball was awful (with one exception).

JL looked like the better QB by far today.
I don't see them day in and day out, but today, it wasn't close.
I'm not shrink. that's just the way it was today.

Rob bob JL made the effort to learn the plays and looks great.

He's become the better Qb I hope he gets a chance and the players support him.

How at this point does JJ not know the plays?

I want whats best for LSU!

not with a pick six a game. that would be crazy. If he could become less erratic,, less turnovers, he could be a decent QB.

based soly on seeing the Spring Game, IMO i think we are in real trouble with either one..... I do think, other than the pic six, JL looked better than JJ, but that's really not saying much... JJ looked bad....

Jefferson in not an efficient Quarterback. His completion percentage is never that good. You either have to be very efficient and methodical to drive the ball or if you're not you better at least be a good deep ball passer. Jefferson is neither. I think Lee could be a more efficient and effective QB. I would be all for JL starting over JJ from what I've seen at this point in their careers. I'll support either decision by the coaches but my 2 cents would be on JL.

I mean JL goes into a spring game that has little pressure in it, throws a pick six. Then he continues and does OK and we think hes suddenly this confident quarterback and his days of falling apart are over? Ha

BINGO!!!

And people think JL bashers are bad? The JL backers are much worse.

Lee will light it up this year. He has learned the playbook, struggled through adversity and I think he will be the starter and gain confidence throughout the season.

JJ had a lot of WR drops so you cant blame him for that

If you consider throwing at the ground, WR drops, then yes those were drops

This is just an observation but is he blaming his WR's when he overthrows by 5 yards or is he saying aw shite i screwed up again? seems like every time he doesnt make a completion hes always complaining. It's not very leader like and if I were his WR and saw him do that shite everytime he threw it 5 yards in front of me or way out of bounds I would get pretty fed up.

i think JL is capable of playing like that consistently.

Those who say JJ played terrible... I agree he didn't play well but he missed the same throws he did last year and completed the same passes he did last year, wide open spot in the zone and dink and dunks.

this is the nail in the coffin for me. just doesn't have what it take physically to be elite and the more whining he does proves that he doesn't have the mental toughness either.

flynn and mauck - not elite talent but mentally tough.
