Myself, my room-mate, and two lady-friends are heading that way Friday. Staying at the Clarion (260/night). Will be looking for tiger tailgaters to hang with. It's my first away game so hopefully we'll find somewhere to camp out.

Jason, people just love a good party, especially when they're surrounded by fellow LSU fans.

well, im hoping we can have the same kind of tailgating party for the Florida game. i know its an 8pm kickoff, so more time to drink and party!

Well hell.. I was in Auburn just never made it to that tailgate. Me and the Girlfriend are gonna make this trip as well. I'll stay posted to this thread.

My girlfriend has NEVER been to a football game, much less an LSU-UF game. I can't wait to initiate her into the fold and hear her shout her first "TIGER BAIT!" Too bad it can't be in Death Valley, though!

oh yeah, im definately bringing my chair. i was so comfortable.
also, bringing my generator, 32 inch HDTV, lsu canopy, grill, 2 tables, nintendo wii, stereo, cd player, speakers, lsu chairs, LOTS of beer, jambalaya, burgers, chicken....and thats just the beginning.....

My wife and I are bringing 2 friend s with us for our first road trip to Florida. Also looking for a good place to party Friday night. We are staying at teh Hilton in Ocala.

Thanks, we are just a couple of good ole down bayou boys, looking for the real tailgating experience. Nobody tailgates like LSU does

We tailgated with a large group of Tigers behind the O'Connell Center 2 years ago. We were on the opposite side of the O'Connell center from University Avenue. The O'Connell Center is right next to Ben Hill Griffin, so we were close to the stadium. It was cool, as the band came by and played Pregame for us.
Anybody going to be in Jacksonville Friday night? I can't say I would recommend Gainesville for your Friday night partying...

I'll be at the game sporting purple and gold. But jac where did you hear that the game is at 8:00? Espn's schedule says its at noon. It will probably be the Gameday game and be held at 8pm eastern, but did you see that confirmed anywhere?
