Yep. That 1 out homer in the top of the 9th was devastating.

Was at that game... They never seemed the same after that one game

I was hoping to catch practice this afternoon. Does anybody know what time practice starts? It would be greatly appreciated.

Practice scheduled to start at 2:00 followed by scrimmage at 3:45. These things often don't follow the schedule though.

Thanks a lot. I guess I'll head out there and hope for the best.

I plan on getting out there around 3:30 hoping to see first pitch of the scrimmage, but it could already be in the 4th inning!

The scrimmages are only 6 innings so they start keeping the score on the scoreboard in the 4th inning.

Mike Zunino just flat out scares me. He's a pro player with collegiate eligibility...

He's a stud, no doubt.

Adam, have you heard of Tyler Moore switch hitting? Do you think he's gonna be a difference maker for this team with his bat?

Tyler was a switch-hitter until early high school when he decided to swing exclusively from the left side.

This year we will face mostly RH pitchers since Moore will possibly be the only LH batter in the lineup. But he will also be very competitive against lefties

Page 9, bro.

He wasn't expected to be a significant contributor this season, but he did have decent pro potential...

Freshmen
1. Aaron Nola RHP
2. Cody Glenn LHP
3. Carson Baranik RHP
4. Tyler Moore C/1B
5. Evan Powell 3B

It all looks like pitcher-bias to me, but then again, I don't really think like a pro scout.

Was one of the top pitchers to come out of HS in Louisiana last year. Fastball had topped out around 94mph a couple times but mostly sits around 90-92mph. I didn't expect Carson to be a major contributor this season but to definitely get some innings in. Don't think he'll be kicked off the team...but no one knows how this will turn out.

Nola, Glenn, and Baranik are by far the top prospects in the freshman class.
