I was wondering the same thing.

The only concern I had with this line was with Clapp making calls at center and that was shored up last week.

What's the chance the O- line starts slow like last year?

It's possible, but unlikely. I think this is as talented and mature a line we're putting out there since 2011.

I'm guessing because it's "gel" not "jell."
Not sure that warrants a

I think you can use "gel" or "jell" interchangeably.

The LSU Tiger O-Line will be one of the Best in the SEC...Book it!

Actually Alexander projects as a Guard in the NFL...& Pocic a Tackle...interchangeable at it's finest...

Ill just point out Porter didnt start at first and then was injured against Arkansas. The line didnt play as well with him out. Maybe that's why they are going with Pocic. A lil less experienced at center last season, but way more reps than clapp. So maybe they think that is a safer bet.

Lines do take time to jell, but 3 of these guys have logged a ton of hours together, and Boutte has gotten time with them, as well. Also, four of these guys have the versatility to play multiple positions. That should really accelerate the process. I think this line is going to get going quickly and will be cracking skulls by the Auburn game.

And I'm hoping you are spot on or else it could be a long night in Tiger Stadium. I like our chances.

I would think it would be Desean Smith catching those passes more than Gordon.

This OL will get better as the season progresses, and will do just fine vs. McNeese this week. It should respond well to the challenges of the next weeks also.
