who will have the biggest impact? I'll say Pettigew(?) and Sullivan... although I didn't realize he was listed as a TE. While there are several TEs on the current roster, we know 'some' will probably never see the field.

Sullivan is the only one who has proven anything. I honestly think we might see more 4 WR sets than TEs this season.

I missed that as well, although there's been a lot of talk about him playing there and he made some appearances there during the Spring Game.

He'd be the obvious choice to make an impact given his size and receiving experience. Modern TEs don't have to have the blocking skills the position once required. I think we all drool over a 6'7 232 pound TE being a threat in the middle of the field or the red zone.

Sullivan had 23 catches for 363 yards and 2 TDs last year. If he can prove himself as even a somewhat reliable blocker, and maybe bump those numbers up to around 35-40 catches, 450-500 yards, then he will get serious attention from the NFL scouts as a tight end. If the staff truly uses him as a tight end and the offense truly has evolved, I can see him putting up those kinds of numbers. Linebackers will have a hard time covering someone that big, fast, and capable of high-pointing a jump ball. I think some of that will come from how he physically develops himself this off-season. He's at 6-7, 232 pounds now. If he can get to 240-245, not only will he be a monster on the field, but he'll get a lot of looks come draft time.

I know there are a lot of ifs here, but he has shown himself to be a reliable weapon on offense, and none of this is too crazy to think he can achieve.

He can do this

And this

Speed with size. Hard to hate those two attributes if they are paired with reliable run blocking.

Sullivan against an undersized LB/S in the red zone may be all LSU needs from him. If he can block as well, this has big potential.

Pettigrew if healthy is a prototype LSU TE and looked great last time we saw him. He seems to be the more complete TE. Sullivan is more of a project, but TE could be his future. He could really be a match up problem if LSU can go 2 TEs or 4 Wr's at any time.
This offense with this QB could be the surprise of CFB this year.

If JP stays healthy he can have a YUGE impact. He can give the ability to really mix up the play calls and he is a big, big man.
I just assume Moss could do well but we haven’t even been able to see him perform in scrimmages. (He May have participated in 1)

We know Sullivan can be an impact at that position, he will be a matchup issue for most defenses at TE.

I think JP could surprise people!

no way Sullivan gets to 240-245 before the yr.

Pettigrew is going to shine this year and the juco guy will be a great blocker

Pettigrew certainly looks the part. Unfortunately we didn't get to see him last year due to injury

Still in the black hole of TE's.

Doesn't sound right.

My gut tells me Pettigrew as he’s more of a prototype TE but it really all depends on how they choose to use the TE in this offense. If they use the TE split out as more of a Jimmy Graham big slot WR role then Sullivan should thrive there. I’m convinced that Thaddeus Moss isn’t even a real person at this point.
