I'm pretty sure the people near NOLA whose homes were underwater will give two shits about LSU vs N. Texas.

My family will never forget driving 30 miles to a buffalo wild wings in Hammond to watch the LSU game! One of our favorite post Katrina memories. The place was so packed you couldn't move. Everyone there had a blast.

quote:No shot in hell this gets played Saturday. Within 45 miles of Baton Rouge you have towns that are completely underwater. You have around a million people without power in s Louisiana. They're not going to want tens of thousands of people clogging the roads.

I disagree with that.
I totally agree, they're not going to choke the streets with 90,000 idiots while there are still people waiting for crews to get into the same areas to restore their power.

My family in BR all has power back on and there are "twigs and sticks" in the yard. Did The Doc make it through the storm? Do people still think the game will not be played?

I think it's game on Saturday night. If I still don't have power/cable, I'm looking forward to getting out of the house and tailgating.

I hope cable comes back today because I got some games I want to watch tonight and tomorrow night.
