You are giving way too much attention to offense and not enough to defense if you are even considering taking out Nola or Gibbs.

damn, we have a bunch of Nola fans on here. I just don't see it and I have been to every home game and the road trip to Stark Vegas.

I know its only 1 weekend, but if you went to Starkville this weekend, did you see him get 5 hits?

I would say an option to consider also would be to sit Gibbs and play all of the other 3. We would definitely lose a little bit defensively b/c Gibbs is a really solid catcher but his bat hasn't been the greatest this year. It's starting to come around.

Take a guess what his batting average is this month

sitting the hot-hitting Gibbs who's one of the best defensive catchers in the game, would be freakin retarded in my book...are you kidding me?...

he said that Nola's parents contribute serious money to the university and that may be why he's getting some PT.

Is Nola Roofing his dad's company?

sounds like Leon's friend is an idiot and sour over Leon trying to hit every pitch out of the park. Hopefully the 3 home run performance on sunday doesn't hurt landry

Nola is good- period- The question is what are the best 10 guys to put in the game in any situation. Keep the middle solid, and make the moves on the corners based off whoever the coach feels can get it done ! When you have a team as deep as LSU-good problems occur-Lets see do I sit a guy who is batting 320 or 315 or who is hot of late. shite 95 teams in the country would sell their souls to have our 9-17 players.

+1

Seriously. You don't start for a top 3 college baseball team b/c your parents give money. Whoever said that in the first place is retarded.

Nola has been getting clutch hits all year. .. well, at least since he entered the lineup.

We're LSU fans. We expect clutch hits while sitting on the bench. No excuses.

I find it hard ot beleive any coach of a big time program is going to risk his job playing someone just because his parents contribute a lot of money to the school. Just not going to happen.

Granted I have only been able to catch a few games in person and a handful on TV but aren't both Nola and Ochinko hitting the ball hard, just right at people? If so eventually you got to believe they'll start to find holes.

And I agree with everyone that Gibbs is way to valuable of a defensive asset and leader to even consider sitting him.

Glad PM makes the calls and not us!
