4 games under Miles/Cam---11 receptions 99 yards 0 TDs
1st 4 under O/Ensminger----15 receptions 206 yards 2 TDs

If he comes back for his senior year, he's primed to put up big numbers.

finished regular season with 34 catches 454 yards and 3TDs

He needs to come back... needs some weight and polishing..... if the offense next year looks like it did the last 7 games he will shine and his stock will skyrocket....

Malachi wont make it in the nfl if he doesnt work on his ball skills. He needs another year. No lsu player hurt his draft stick more than Chi did this year. He doesnt play to his height.

I think the more accurate comparison is Dupree with Harris vs. Etling at QB.

I almost never say that someone should come back, but Malachi was a legit early 2nd rounder before this season, and his production is so low it may have dropped him to the 3rd or 4th. I doubt he will have the off the chart measureables in the combine like a OBJ or Chark would have.

It is a no-brainer IMO if Chark declares because he would be the primary receiver and get a ton of targets.

What concerns me about Dupre in the NFL is his toughness especially over the middle.

Malachi seemed to stop dropping passes once Miles was gone. I bet Malachi was told that dropped passes equals time on the bench.

It only seemed that way. He dropped passes all year.
But the entire offense was better once miles was gone.

It's weird because when he first came to LSU it seemed he had magnets for hands. I am tired of seeing players regress. Happened a little too often on the offensive side of the ball under Miles.

He needs to come back and work on catching the ball with his hands and high pointing his catches. I just don't understand why he doesn't high point it with his size. It is the most frustrating thing to watch.

Agreed. Miles refusal to allow our qbs to throw over the middle of the field severely hampered our offense.

I would say he is better over the middle than he is on the outside.

Ive never seen a 6'4 wr play so small. Steve Smith has more fight in the air than Chi.

The definition of a dropped pass changed after Miles was gone as well. Mostly because Miles would protect his QB by throwing everyone else under the bus if he had to.

Remember when this was a "dropped" pass?

He just needs to catch the fricking ball. He's been given plenty of opportunities. And we all saw it, he was Harris' go to guy and he's one of the reasons he was benched.

Those were dropped passes. You want to be an elite wr? You catch the hard ones.

Link to where Miles threw him under the bus? he didn't.

How in the hell does the definition of a dropped pass change and who changed it? A dropped pass is a dropped pass. And Dupre had more than his fair share of dropped passes during the year.

He was a lot more sure handed from the middle of the year to the end, but Jesus jumped up and down, he had way too many drops throughout the year.
