If Beckham's behavior doesn't warrant a suspension, I don't know what does. He and the Carolilna defensive back should have been thrown out of the game, and Beckham should have been suspended for the intentional helmet-to-helmet hit. I would have also suspended the officiating crew for failing to keep the game under control.

Agreed, as long as the Carolina player was suspended as well...

If it's overturned it means other factors played in. Gay slurs. Swinging bat and making threats etc. I mean the Panthers already said only a practice squad member had the bat. Until video showed Norman had it too.

He wasn't ejected in that game. What makes it fair to be ejected out of the next?

I think this is where he gets off (if he actually does). It was definitely a Helmet to Helmet but I don't think it was intentional simply because Beckham is not a skilled defensive guy and he just launched at the guy to light him up and that was the result. Another point on his side of the argument was the refs letting it go on and virtually doing nothing about it outside of penalties.

Over-turned? No way. I think OBJ was clearly drawn into this ignorance started by that a-hole Norman but, OBJ could have seriously injured that piece of shite Norman. He deserves to take one game off. As soon as the Giants are eliminated from the play-offs give OBJ the rest, I mean "suspend" him for whatever games are left. Suspend him to a out of the way place totally opposite of cold and windy new York. Maybe Tahiti or some place out in the middle of nowhere so he can have some alone time and think about what he done.

People are judging him harshly without knowing what the entire panther team was during pregame warmups. They were using a baseball bat to intimidate him and making gay slurs at him. Panthers are not the only team that has been harassing him with gay slurs. Norman should have been suspended and the Carolina head coach should have also been suspended for allowing his team to bring a bat to warmups.

I mean he had dudes on the sideline threatening him with bats during warm ups......I'm not sure I wouldn't have reacted the same way.

High schools do this. It's called "bringing the wood." You may also see teams run out the tunnel with chains or a hammer. It's a motivation/intimidation symbol that has been around for YEARS. Also, walking up to your opposition during warmups to talk trash is nothing out of the norm at all.

Now combining the two along with rumors of season ending threats, that is another story. That is crossing the line. But it is stupid for people who have never competed a day in their life to start crying over a freaking baseball bat. It is nothing new.
