The Rant never disappoints.

Serious question, did OBJ play baseball when he was at Newman?

The way you fricktards look at the worse in a situation, is quite remarkable.

Yall should really try to look at the positive in situations. You'll live longer you worthless bastards.

you're the one who went negative with the thread bud, acting like odell will have a harder time staying out of trouble, something that hasn't even come close to being an issue with the kid his entire life, unless he's playing an organized sport year round. must be all those tattoos and him liking rap music

You own easily the most negative, ignorant, mind-numbingly retarded post in this thread. Basically...

"OBJ better play another sport otherwise he'll be on the streets getting in trouble."

That may be how you depict what I said, but it's not at all what was meant by it. You must live a horrible, negative, lonely little life. I feel for you bro.

That's so racist, but that's just your opinion, man. Sad little lives you people live. Do you need a hug?

I removed the last bit because I admit that was too much, but if you're going to say something that dumb, expect backlash. Now explain to me how I'm off base, bro-who knows nothing of my life. PS it's pretty damn good.

Oh I get it, you're trolling and intentionally have nothing to add to the conversation. Remind me to discredit just about everything you post from here on. You're pretty awful at it.

Dumb about what? The fact that it couldn't hurt to play another sport during the off season? To compete in an organized sport against other professionals? Please tell me where I am wrong in saying that, all mighty Lucifer.

Why didn't you just say that? It would have served you better than your "staying off the streets" BS. Nothing about that made any sense.

It was just cliche, and I admit, I was somewhat trolling, but I didn't think it would blow up to this extreme. Then again, this is tRant.

How would it hurt? From a completely rational stance, it would take away time he has to fine tune his skills in the offseason for his football career, the one in which his livelihood depends. He could also risk unforeseen injury. He's never played baseball either. What purpose would it serve him to spend time trying to learn a new sport rather than spending his offseason training to perform in the sport he's being paid millions to perform at a high level?

Yea...It's really hurt Russell Wilson the past 3 years. Yes, Russell did play minor league ball previously, but I still think it is good to stay active in another sport. It may be a publicity stunt, but why not ride that train while you still can?

uh, russell wilson played with the rangers for a few days. and he never played in an actual game. he did some drills and took BP. and yes, i'm glad you brought it up. he actually played professional baseball before returning to football. odell didn't. and yes, it was a publicity stunt. regardless, the entire argument you made was he should play baseball to avoid off the field problems that could arise otherwise. that is ridiculous.

It's not ridiculous. Just face it, I'm not going to agree with you, and you aren't going to agree with me.

Why would OBJ not want to do this?

Bigger question, why would the Giants allow it?
