Based on what evidence? Why mid-season and not now? The only thing he lacks is reps as a starter, which I think would’ve helped a lot of his issues he’s had. I think he plays a good bit this year but he’s only starting if Daniels goes down or has shown zero improvement in his down field passing.

Not exactly a bold prediction when you consider the style of QB JD is and his injury risk. About the only way he's taking it from him.

He'll start next year and could win the Heisman. This year he'll come in for a series or two each half for a change of pace and mop up. This is JD's team this year
