Not to mention that a guy pulled a gun on Mett and another player a few weeks ago at 2:30 in the morning. Doesn't sound like Les has control of this team and doesn't look like the team is focused.

Damn Les, he didn't stop a that guy from pulling a gun on his players. What a jerk!

I agree with the OP fwiw. This has had and could have a effect all year

CLM looks seriously pained. This was a body blow to the man as well, you can see it.

I love the quotes of the defensive guys.

I'm a little concerned I haven't heard much from the O side of the ball, lineman or something

First off, I feel for JJ as a human being. He must be miserable at this time as is his family.

As a football player, he really didn't bring much to the table. Not a strong leader based on watching him on the sideline and on the field. Maybe the worst passer in Division 1 football. An above average runner as a QB but not a great running QB by any means. I just don't see what the team will be missing by him not being on the team.

As far as Josh Johns, his only hope of seing the field was on Special Teams.

I don't think LSUs record will be altered based on today's events.

You also mentioned Russell Shepard, he too has shown very little. Jarvis Landry (if he isn't suspended) and Odell Beckham are better than Shepard right now.

Think about UNC last year. Started the season without half the team starters and finished 8 and 5.

We're in a much better position than they were last year. There are players that would not have played and will get a chance. You think they'll make the most of it.

Hell yes.

If you've followed LSU football for any length of time, you should realize that the improbable is possible.

So much for my positive take on the situation.

Based on EVERYTHING that has happened in the last month.....I think 8-4 is very likely and 6-6 is a possibility.

I don't disagree with that. But that's why I say, I don't know how any one man can control all of these kids. "Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child." I think when people talk about a program "losing control," that it is usually blown out of proportion. Miami lost control. LSU, far from it.
