He had no choice but to start Harris against Auburn.

Also our QB depth was atrocious last year so no way he would have gotten redshirted.

He needed to play more in order to have him further along headed into this year. It wasn't going to help with 2014 though. That's where most people were wrong.

I'm really getting tired of always questioning the situations of 'insert role here' on our football team.

How about we just finally get this crap together for once.

Harris is not accurate I don't know if this will be long term problem or will he make big leap like mettenberger did his senior year.

We will have a top 5 WR core in the country next year with or without Dural (Dural give us that vert threat). All he has to do is make easy throws or hits our receivers in space/ stride...

Mettenberger didn't have the problem Harris had. Mett's main problem outside of his pocket presence, was air balling the deep passes.

Harris has an accuracy problem like really badly. He's injured several WRs, RBs, and a TE because of his accuracy. I also have no idea why he is always so late on his throws.

Considering Harris got worse in the back half of the season I don't expect any improvement at all. And that blame is on the coaches and I just don't see them magically changing now.

In what way(s) "wasted" his freshman year are you talking about? Redshirt? should've started every game? Split time?
Why don't you answer your own question and then we could probably chime in with our thoughts.
But what is lost in all of this is LSU went 4-2 after an 0-2 start., one of those first 2 losses, Harris started and didn't play well. So I'm not sure why u feel the need to add CLM name to your post but I'm sure u have your reasons. Very interested to know how you would've handled the QB situation last year. Pls enlighten us.
I'm sure there were many coaches that could've rallied the troops and finished 4-2 in league play. could've easily been 5-1 He had Alabama on the ropes with less than a minute to go and was kicking off to them at home. I'm sure malzahn and sumlin could've done much better with less QB play and beaten Alabama and notre dame.
I do think Harris will make a huge jump next year and will be one of the best QB's in the SEC. I'm also sure that Miles will get very little credit if this does occur. It's a tough league defensively and young QB's are more likely than not to struggle in their first year starting especially in the west.
