Yep it sure is nice having a head coach we don't have to worry about other schools trying to hire

t sure is nice to not care anymore about Miles and his agent are talking to other schools about coaching jobs just to get Alleva to fork over additional money!

They are still talking to other schools to make sure Alleva keeps forking over the money. Wait till we are paying out O and Miles.

If O goes at least 9-3 next year Alleva will trip and fall trying to rush to the bank to give him a significant raise (despite the fact there probably still won't be a market for O outside of LSU). O will use the UCLA and/or Tenn. jobs as leverage if they become available

So nothing has changed then. No one wanted to hire Miles from LSU. If they did he would be employed right now.

Except for the fact that he is getting paid to stay unemployed.

And the Miles Derangement Syndrome continues.
Honestly you people sound like the Democrats and Trump.

Please don't stop. It is way too funny to end.

This.

I don't know how so many of you overlook this, but Les only needs to moderately act like he's looking for a job for LSU to keep paying him the entire $12.9 million - and that's exactly what he's doing.

He'll probably even be dropping singles on the Tiger Stadium turf this season as he celebrates the 10 year anniversary of the 2007 title.

Why would anybody in their right mind get back into the meatgrinder when your former employer still owes you tons of money?

Don't understand the dislike for Miles. He did an incredible job at LSU, but some fans act like he was horrible. LSU was the closest team on the field with Alabama and beat Alabama some years. Get over it! Les represented LSU with class. Did his record go down the last few years? Yes, but it happens to all coaches if they stay at one place long enough! You fans that criticize Les are nothing more than couch-potato coaches! He won in the toughest conference and division in college football! OK, we've lost to Alabama the past few years, who hasn't? Grow up!

Don't rain on their parade Crawfish. Most of them ain't happy unless they're bad-mouthing Miles....or Mainieri....or whoever's the current basketball coach. It all depends on the season.

Yeah. I hated having a coach that everyone else wanted.

He declined and I was ready for a change but saying your glad that Michigan, Arkansas and Texas aren't making a run at our coach is moronic.

I don't even care about the buyout/looking for a job anymore. I'm just glad a change is here.
As far as O, remains to be seen, but optimistic just in the offensive coordinator drastic changes he aggressively took bc I think O knows he's under a microscope.
