Hey Coach, you better get worried. Butler's pitcher would get hit in good high schools. This is terrible. How about moving up in the box and crowding the plate (right handed hitters); how many slow fastballs and slower changes can you miss on the outside corner?

Someone explain to me why we don’t just sit on the curve. He going to throw it.

Another lsu team that’s can’t hit junk lefties. Broken record.

News flash: The coach doesn't read message boards, so who are you talking to?

Tell me you never played baseball without telling me you never played baseball.

Trying to time a 70 mph pitch when you’ve been hitting 95+ is a massive change.

It’s tough than you think to adjust to really slow trash pitching. You train and play against quality pitching so much, it takes a second to adjust. Some of it is mental as well. We’ve had 9 outs, let the lineup flip over.

Do we not use scouting reports anymore?

I played baseball and coached baseball my friend. As one of the readers pointed out, there are no adjustments at all. According to your theory, all of our opponents should throw high school (not good high school) pitchers against us; we would be too talented to hit them.

This lineup is vastly overrated

This pitcher should be the Golden Spikes winner and #1 overall pick according to your logic.

Move up in the box if you used to 95mph pitching! Simple adjustment

It isn’t constructed correctly

75 pitches through 4 innings.

Yea we don’t hit the three left handed pitchers throwing 70 mph we see every year very well.

You know what we do well though? We get them out of the game quickly.

So calm the frick down and let the game play out.

With the talent in this lineup, do you know how little it matters who bats where?

We’re about to adjust. It takes time. If they did what you suggest, we would hit homers very frequently this year. Did you coach 12 year olds?

ETA: I hit post as Crews proved my point

I think Crews just showed them how to do it properly
