What I saw was 2 teams that were pretty well matched. Great pitching from both sides. MS state scored a total of 12 runs in 3 games we scored a total of 9. If they are the #2 team in the country than we are ok. We will continue to improve.

I feel better avoiding the sweep today. But we got a lot to improve on if we hope to have a good year.

Msu is also extremely hot and playing great baseball right now. Not to say there aren’t things to work on but losing to them right now isn’t the worst thing in the world.

Good win today. Would have loved to have pushed one run through in the 1st yesterday. Could have been a different game.

It shouldn’t be time to panic. As I stated the other day, wasn’t taken well...... but I said that LSU will right this ship. Manieri is a great coach..... he went to the championship what.... 3 years ago? It’s too early, he needs a little more time to work out the kinks.

good point.
and not to make excuses or anything but last nights L wasnt necessarily that our team is so bad or whatever; the difference in the game last night was a young lsu team and an experienced MSU squad... we shouldve/couldve opened the game up last night in the bottom of the 1st; (completely shifteed the momentum of that game btw) and if we avoid that unearned run; then we win that game... so imo i dont see some horrible team like most on this forum and im definitely see no need to panic at all.

Very true..also, very misleading to anyone that didn’t watch the games.
How many runs were scored in the first 2 games by each? 9:1
LSU pitching is weak, given up a lot hits/runs to ever team they’ve faced.

Continue to improve? Where have they improved since the first game? Thank goodness for timely Bombs vs weak competition.
