A good coaching hire should put LSU on same plane as Bama again.

Can the admin make the needed hire?

Lol. Six straight wins. There's quite a bit of separation.

Averaging 3 losses a season since in 1/9..I'd say there's much more seperation between us

Did you miss the part where we got 125 yards last night and they had around 350?

So, six degrees of separation...

6 consecutive number 1 recruiting classes would help.

There's plenty of separation now especially along the OL and DL. And, Saban lets his coaches coach especially on offense.

A new hire is going to have his work cut out for him to start contending with Bama. It's not unachievable but they will have to revamp the way LSU plays offense. The defense has been shown to play above average to average through numerous coordinators and recruiting classes.

Nick Saban is a big enough gap that it doesn't matter.

He's actually quite small.

The OP is a lot of the problem with this fan base.

How can you think we are on the same plane as Bama?

No one in college football is at the moment.

To compare your program to Saban is to immediately set yourself up for failure.

At the moment we're in about the same spot as the past few years under Miles, so close, yet so far.

On the surface, the only real difference last night was a QB that can improvise, but in reality it is a willingness to go in a different direction in order to be successful vs. thinking you can wedge a square peg into a round hole with enough practice.

I agree LSU is the closest. Still tough to compete when they have the #1 recruiting class every year.

Recruiting class rank don't mean shite if you can't coach young high school talent!

This ranking bullshite is designed by the media to hype people up and sell more of their crap.

Except Bama started a true freshman in the most hostile environment in college football. I think that looms pretty large and makes what Bama did pretty damn impressive.

Urban Meyer is the only coach who owns Saban. Is he available?
