Non Conference Games

Always wondered why we always have a mid conference season OOC game. Most others have them at the beginning or one at the end. Just wondering

This season 9 SEC teams have at least one OOC game between September 26 and October 31.
Only LSU, Arkansas, Mississippi State, and Vanderbilt have 4 conference games in November. But 4 East teams have their ACC rivalry game as the last game of the season.
