LSU always take a victory lap after the regional win. Except for one time... Plus tonight. LSU didn't take a victory lap after the regional in 2012 and we know how that super regional turned out. No victory lap tonight. Next weekend might be dicey.

Bad things happen when LSU doesn't stick to their traditions.

They took one every other time. This team is here to win it.

It's noteworthy. He just should have saved his opinions for follow up posting.

Just another step on the path to championship. Save your celebrations for the big one.

Counterpoint. They took a Victory lap after last year's Regional. How did that work out in the supers?

Also Stony Brook went 2&Q in Omaha after their victory lap in 2012

I'm thinking they remember that. No more celebrations until they punch their ticket to Omaha, and that might be subdued too.

Besides, kind of a disjointed end to the game, you had to take a couple seconds to realize that was a swinging strike and not a passed ball.

Then, it was just "oh. It's over".

Do you have room for actual knowledge in your brain or just obscure LSU baseball facts

Unfinished business. I like it. Save the victory lap for CWS.

Let's act like we've been there before. It's better that our baseball team didn't do a victory lap last night because it's only Part 1 of a two part path to Omaha.
