re: No prejudice on the LSU Campus is greater than what happens at Gate 7 on gameday

I got an MIP after being parted down and caught with alcohol in '07. I personally can't complain about the pat downs, because I was trying to break the rules regularly and I know I wasn't the only one. There's definitely a higher rate of students trying to sneak in alcohol than in other sections (at least before they took the searches to the next level). When I was caught, they only found one of my bags of bourbon. I gave the other to a friend as I walled out the stadium. He got in fine.

We can act as if our rights are being violated, or we can realize we are choosing to go to the game. And if they didn't pay down, 70% of students would be bringing in booze. And most of them would be under 21. The school has to try and stop that for liability reasons. It sucks, but I get it.
