It's because it would only be played when we kick off. Now tiger band is playing oh-wee-oh all the way from after the touchdown till the kickoff.

I'm from Louisisana should be played before LSU kicks off. I get that the band loves the Oweo chant, but after a 4 minute CBS TV timeout, we could kill the Oweo and crank up something that lets everyone know that we call it dat boot.

I must say I hated I'm from Louisiana when they first started playing it but it grew on me and it pumps up the players and I kind of miss it now

If you weren't jumping up and down to I'm From Louisiana before the kickoff against Ole Miss after the late touchdown, you are emotionless. Sorry band, Oweo ain't creating that type of atmosphere. Oweo should be cut off after a bit because it just can't hold interest for an entire TV timeout, which seems to last about 4 minutes.
