...is it safe to assume that he's not going to get ANY head coaching job in the year 2017??? Or maybe NONE ever?

There simply isn't any market for a 63 yr old coach unless some G5 school out there is that desperate to bring in a recognizable name.

He is getting paid a lot of money not to work. It's hard to find motivation to put the best foot forward to find a job when you are banking obscene amounts of money drawing basically unemployment. That and the fact that he had one of the fastest cars on the track and still couldn't win races. That dang Crimson Chevrolet had his number as well...

The same fate as Phil Fulmer. Fat Phil wanted to coach again but was damaged goods that no big time program wanted.

I think it's safe to assume he will collect the remainder of LSU buyout.

At least he won't be patrolling the sidelines of LSU and calling for one more off tackle against a 9 man front. He was like Christopher Walken and "more cowbell". Just substitute "more toss dive."

Why y'all think he actually wants to coach again is beyond me. He's doing the bare minimum job search in order to meet the terms of his buyout.
