Property taxes are proportionally cheaper on expensive properties. Income tax is progressive in that it affects higher income more. Not rocket science.

This is just not true. Also, nothing about taxes can be said universally. Our tax codes aren't exactly straight-forward in this country.

His property tax would have to be 102,000 to be equivalent. It's probably closer to 10,000 on the type of house he would buy.

He won't pay property tax, either. The 12th Man will put him up in a palace, when he wins. Just like Bama paid Saban's home loan.

What these aggy idiots fail to mention is that we also pay a much higher property tax. I should know as I'm from La and now live in Tx. If you want to live in a 250k house while making 1m then you would come out ahead. That's not the case for most high earners so that is simply retarded aggy FUD.

The no state tax is a nice perk and dont think A&M didnt bring this up. I personally think this isnt about money, but who knows. Its a great deal for both Chavis and A&M. Im sure they are popping the bottles in cow country. LSU better hire a great DC to replace him and save quite a bit of money or it looks like a fleece job from here.

He will rent an apartment in Texas as his primary residence.

someone owns that property who pays property taxes on it, so the taxes are built into the rental price.
