If I missed something, don't kill me. With the certain rain this afternoon, why is there not any baseball this morning? Could have started the first game at 11 am? Why wait around until the afternoon rains?

If they tried to fit all (potential) games in today, then there would be a chance of a team playing three games. That's no Buenos.

Rice played until late last night and they wanted to give them enough rest? That's all I got.

They absolutely should have started at 11 IMO. Shocker that the NCAA once again screwed up the scheduling for no good reason.

TigerFanatic: I am not implying at all that there be three games today. Two would be fine. Once again, we could have potentially gotten one game in before the afternoon rains and been set up for a night game. Why waste dry weather?

According to the rules there cannot be 3 games today regardless of the weather. No team can play 3 games in 1 day. Whomever wins the first game can only play 1 more game today.

If weather forecast holds firm then they should be fine today.

Thunderstorm supposed to roll through around 5 and get out of the way. Not much of anything before or after. Game at 2 should be over, or about over at that time. Cover the field after the game, begin warm ups for 7:00 start at 6, after weather clears. LSU wins regional tonight. Game over.

Well, well, just as I expected. Why, why wait around while the weather is fine? Just makes no sense.

Game should have started no later than noon. No brainer.

Yes, but it depends on what the NCAA decides. Since the BR regional and the one we're paired with in Raleigh have both dealt with delays, starting the Super on Saturday would make the most sense.

I think the point is, we've had weather delays all weekend. Since we're already over the schedule, why not plan on earlier games, to give the best chance of completing these 2?

An 11 am game would have ended with plenty of day left, and we'd probably be well into the second game right now. As it stands, we're looking at a game that will go near 11 pm, with no further delays.

If both games were done by 7 pm, so what?
