The only (substantial) funds that go into that TAF band account are from Tigerama....and now there is a CONTRACT about allowing the school of music to spend Tigerama proceeds as they see fit, from that account.

I don't get it. Wasn't Talley was hired 2 years ago as the Director of bands, the same position he currently has? Then how has he never been in charge of a college marching band until now if he was hired 2 years ago? That doesn't make any sense.

He has never been in charge of a college marching band before being hired at LSU (to oversee all the bands). My point is/was that he (Talley) is not qualified to be either Director of Bands at a D1 school like LSU since his ONLY college DOB position prior to LSU was a music conservatory that did not have football (or a marching band). Would you hire a head football coach at LSU that had NEVER been a head football coach at a D1 school? I think not.
