Some people say why bother watching women's basketball. Well, we(LSU) are in the headines,Lobo is in the headlines, and Ucla was in the headlines. That might catch someone's attention. HA

Man this board should be all LSU baseball right now but they’re just not very good at the moment.

You probably will not have to wait long.

Women’s basketball, and all women’s sports, are a waste of time and money

Personally, I don't watch because it is simply not an entertaining product. I'll watch and cheer for LSU in the post season obviously. But overall, it's the same reason I don't watch LSU track & field, etc.

no, they're not. I grew up in the 60s in smalltown LA and their basketball games were JUST as exciting as the mens games. Small town rivalries and weekend tournament games were just flat out fun. Things haven't carried over as much over the years, but your blanket statement is blanketly wrong. it's all about emotional investment. All sports are a waste of time and money if you have no investment in the team/outcome. Just a bunch of people running around with balls and such

When men begin to dominate womens basketball I'll probably give it watch.

I just heard on the Clay and Buck radio program that more viewers watched the LSU/Iowa game than did any NBA final games.

I think you are mistaking excitement for drama.

2015 World Cup was great. We kicked the world's arse at their own sport.

Rap hadn't made it toxic yet.

Kim Mulkey has made LSUWBB exciting, IMO. I have had season tickets since the week Kim was hired at LSU. I'll renew them when the time comes. I even watch a good number of regular season games (non-SEC) that ranked teams play in.

IMO, good WBB is an exciting sport to watch. I judge college WBB teams against each other and not against the NBA or MBB in general.

I get the feeling that it’s the same 12 posters putting up 99% of the traffic on WBB.

At least the spring game is coming soon.
