All nike teams wear the top of the line stuff. The pro combats are really more of a look change than anything. You get to wear one this year but from my understanding it's not much different than the traditional one. The advantage Oregon gets is they are often the Guinea pigs for new stuff.

Yeah but Under armor is now copying Nike with Maryland. The uniforms are a marketing tool that helps with recruiting and national exposure. Only Ohio St sells more crud. When recruits talk about Oregon the uniforms is always brought up. Oregon also lets some of the player design them and then a board of players then get to make the choice of what combination they'll wear for the weak.
