Nick Brossette - why no word from him from camp?

Is he injured? I haven't been keeping up with the day to day but I haven't seen any chatter about him.

He is the third string RB, but the coaches have said there is a big gap between Williams and Brossette.

Not injured. Just nothing noteworthy about him. He's a Kenny Hilliard type.
ETA: Not sure why I'm getting downvoted. Hilliard was never a bad RB but was also never the premier guy. Dude got to the league

I hope that's because Williams has improved. Brossette didn't seem to be that far behind last year.

The reason you don't hear about him is because he is not a standout player. Great kid, great teammate, D1 talent, but not standout talent. Simple as that. Can play on kickoff and punt coverage teams if he wants it and get a handful of carries this year.

Well, we will see about NB in the season...everything else is pure speculation at this point.

So true, we are just speculating acting like our opinion is important. It wouldn't bother me a bit if NB rushed for 1500 yds this year. Wish nothing but the best for the young man.

I hope he does something because he will be counted on next year with williams and Guice gone after this year.Not saying he will start but will get some reps i'm sure.

I've heard CEH has been tearing it up on practice. You will see him used more this year than you will Brossette. CEH is much more versatile and a better change-of-pace running back. Brossette will get his chance to shine senior year.

This is constantly said about so many 3rd string guys every year. The truth is that many of those players wouldn't start for most power five teams.

He was one of Les Miles favs (politics?). He is a good talent, but nothing special. He seems to be the less good of a fit in Canadas offense, so maybe that is whats ongoing.

I think him and Clyde will almost split carries 50/50 next year. I'm sure Chris Curry will get some snaps as well. Kid looks and runs EXACTLY like Marshawn Lynch.
