I'm not a fan of Ole Miss, but Bianco is very deserving of the praise in conquering Omaha.

That is a pretty miserable way to live life, but more power to you. I think it is awesome to see a guy who has knocked on the door for years, and coached the game to the best of his ability finally break through.

It’s surprising the Skip Bertman coaching tree hasn’t had more success. Though it’s a lot like Nick Saban’s coaching tree and it’s limited championships. The head coach was so good he makes the assistants look better than they are which gets them head coaching jobs. Jim Wells in the late 90s was the best run by a Bertman assistant before Bianco won today.

Wells last year at Bama they were 37-21/18-11.. not terrible by any means.

At the end of the day it is. Bianco, by all accounts, seems to be a great person. However he’s all Ole Miss. He build that program in Oxford to a level that competes on same field as LSU. They’ve got the same, if not better player facilities.

I live in Mississippi but bleed P&G. I can’t believe how much I wanted the Rebels to win it for my friends here ! They have never won it so it was great, especially with LSU’s alum coaching ! Will I pull for them again ? Probably not ! But today,,,Geaux Ole Miss
