We have some huge pieces coming back next year along our Dline. We had a Cb to step up huge not counting our great freshman,So we should have 2 great corners on the field atthe same time.. Hopefully we get back to our standard of play

Just need some big time improvements from the LBs and better tackling, then we should be back to LSU defense.

Better linebacker play with make everything seem better. It was the weakest link by far.

We should have a good defense.

I don’t know if what we would call an “LSU Defense” exists in today’s college football

Hire a good OC. Good DC. Good PGC.
Improve LBS and OL.
Keep Stingley and Ricks healthy.
Never thought I'd say it, but who the F is going to play WR beyond Boutte?
Beyond that.. we're golden.

I still think our safety play was as bad as I’ve ever seen at LSU

We should have 3-4 great corners in Sting, Ricks, Ward and Jones.

We need our safeties to step up but I think our young guys will help here, plus if Raymond has the entire dB unit it might help

The true freshman Ryan and Davis will see the field at safety next year and hopefully Toles also. Baskerville looks to be our guy in the middle and hopefully the younger guys step up at the other linebacker spots also. Dline will be good and deep.
