Minter will be the next Ray Lewis for the Ravens.

I think Minter is much more of a sure bet in the NFL than Mingo. Mingo is a risky pick. He's just hard to project.

Montgomery’s work ethic continues to be the No. 1 concern for teams considering the LSU product, and he fact that he admitted to taking games off against lesser foes did nothing to help that situation. Don’t be shocked if Montgomery drops beyond Round 2, in spite of his obvious talent.

Oh big Sam. Why oh why didn't toy keep your mouth shut

He's a 3-4 OLB.

If he could only be the next Rickey Jackson or Pat Swilling...

in the sense that he has never played the position and wasn't very productive in college especially when he went up against the better OT's in the SEC. Also very one diminsional. Could easily be a bust in the NFL. If he gets a clear path to the QB he can get there in a hurry though.

It really is amazing how retarded SI is these days. There is no way in hell Mingo makes it to 15, especially with the recent developments with free agent QBs that will allow more teams ahead of N.O. to look for defensive help.

This is not retarded at all. Other mocks have him going to saints at 15 too. As much as some here think he will be top 5, that is very unlikely. Where he goes really depends on what position players come off the board ahead of him. You never know, 1 or 2 qbs could get drafted in top 14.

Honestly, I've looked at a bunch of Mock Drafts, and they all look terrible. For example, the majority of the Mocks I've looked at have 3/4 of the top DE/OLB hybrids going to teams that are running a 4-3 next year. Now, those teams may do that. But, it seems really unlikely that 3 teams running a 4-3 are going to go out in the top 10 picks and grab a speed rushing OLB. It makes zero sense.

can you provide Mingo's stats in comparison to the other OLB/DEs that he will be drafted along side him this year?

Just off the top of my head, Jarvis Jones has as many sacks in one game vs. Florida this past year than Mingo had all year(4.5).
