New York Giants ... Who's their best Tiger of all time?

Odell Beckham is great, no doubt.
But there have been a few others:
Leonard Marshall,
n the fourth quarter of the game, Marshall hit 49ers quarterback Joe Montana so hard that he suffered a bruised sternum, bruised stomach, cracked ribs, and a broken hand.
The collision was later ranked as the third most "devastating hit" in NFL history by Fox Sports Net,[19] and the third most "devastating hit" in sports history by The Best Damn Sports Show Period.
Corey Webster,
New York Giants defense from 2005 to 2013, playing most games as a starting cornerback.
Y.A. Tittle
inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1971, and his jersey number 14 is retired by the Giants.
"the first professional football player featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated"
" seven Pro Bowls, four first-team All-Pro teams, and four times was named the NFL's Most Valuable Player or Player of the Year"
ODB does have a bit of competition ... Geaux Tigers.

YA Tittle and it's not close. Beckham has a shot to be second but until he makes the HOF and gets his jersey retired I ain't listening.

Not sure who the best one was, but I have Leonard Marshall's helmet from the 82 season. Got it for $4 minus the face mask at the gift shop in Tiger Stadium in July of 1983. It's an old Kelly helmet with the cross suspension that was "outlawed" that year. Still has 11 Tiger head stickers on the back like the team used to do.
On the other hand, I like Tittle too. He was QB at LSU during my dad's freshman year in 1947.
The Giants picked up some great Tigers over the years.

"He suffered a concussion and cracked sternum on the play, but went on to play the rest of the season.[90]"

There's your answer.

I met Leonard and hung out with him about 3 or 4 years ago in one of the suites at an LSU game.. turned out it was his 50th bday, so we got a cake for him.. super humble, charismatic guy, and a great Tiger-- but to me, he will always be the person who, for all intents and purposes, ended Joe Montana's career.

Steve Van Buren
His brother Ebert Van Buren also played for LSU, went on to play for the Eagles and is in the LSU Athletic HOF.
And to answer the OP, Y A Tittle.
