New Uniforms

I know tradition is tradition, but this is just food for thought. Will we ever get new ones or tweak ours?

We "tweaked" them in 2005 with the half stripes around the shoulder. Other than that leave the shite alone.

i wish we had the all black basketball uniforms like we used to have in the "dupree" days

i kinda wished we did somethin with a lil black in it

Maybee in the future we can do a "Gold Out" like Georgia with the black out. The only problem with this is when we do have our gold game during the years the damn fans mix it up. Listen to the word around campus people!

i wore purple to the gold game FWIW, because i think the idea is pretty played out.

The all-white uniform someone farked on Trindon was really good looking and didn't balk in the face of tradition.
Some common uniform thread responses you can look forward to:
"Hey, I have an idea. How about white jerseys and gold pants! GRRRRR"
"Hell, they can play in pink uniforms for all I care"
"Since when did men become interested in fashion!"
"If it ain't broke don't fix it"
And then something about Oregon, and something about the Kentucky game in '95, maybe a dash of Independence Bowl helmets, and then we're back where we started.

And at some point I will chime in with something like "I wish LSU would use actual gold instead of yellow, and a deeper shade of purple", and them someone will compare that to Washington or UCLA...

Id like to see an All Purple Uni. with Gold down the side of the jersey, and gold sash on the pants.
