IMO, its best just to jump right in, and you'll get a few "noob" responses and get it over with, after a couple hundred posts, you'll be like all of us other assholes

TM7 is not the second coming of PP7, but the kid can flat out play

Yes he can, but I disagree, I think he'll be better than Peterson

I haven't wrote off the Tigers yet, but there is definitely some work to be done. IMO, the lineup should have been tweeked a long time ago. 3 series into SEC play is not the time to be searching for the "right lineup". Position for position, we can play with anybody in the country with the exception of our bullpen.

I am a big Ty Ross fan...I think he is slowly helping us forget about Micah Gibbs.

Nola needs to get it together at short and eliminate the uncharacteristic errors.

Ott's best days are far behind him. I actually remember telling my brother when he was a freshman, people are going to stop swinging at all of his trash in the dirt and force him to throw strikes, ergo, making him less effective. I'm not a scout, but I actually got that one right.

Mahtook is a flat out beast and it's guys like him who make college baseball fun to watch. I know it's pretty cliche, but he leaves it all on the field every day.

I hope the Tigers can turn it around and make a run. All the pieces are there to do it, and it's up to CPM to put the puzzle together. Omaha is just not the same without them there.

Better in what way? Coverage? Return game?

PP7 is a physical speciman that does not come around often. TM was a pleasant surprise at the nickel this season, but can he do all the things PP7 did? ie...return kicks and punts with as much effectiveness, take away an opponent's #1 WR?

I hope he can, but I have to see it first hand before I buy into all that hype.

I meant he'd be better as a playmaker, I've always felt Peterson would be better in the pros

No doubt Tyrann is a ballhawk and an exciting playmaker. Watching Peterson play though was great and I'm going to miss the intimidating presence he brought.

I know most here didn't like it but when he ran the punt back and pulled up the Heisman pose it was badass.

The only thing I didn't like about the pose was the fact that he didn't really follow it up with anything (at least in the return game). He had a solid year, but it seemed like the WOW plays ended after that game. I know it's hard to return a punt or kick for a TD every game and there were probably LSU fans that expected just that. However, you strike a "Heisman", you better come with something fierce the rest of the season.

GFY! SO you think TM7 is gonna be the best defensive player in the history of LSU?

He's good, but get hold of yourself kid.

I have been waiting patiently for him to prove me wrong, but it hasn't happened.

Coming out of HS, he was supposed to be a combination of Reggie Bush (the college years) and Vince Young. Don't get me wrong, he's a talent...but he hasn't come close to matching the hype that surrounded him when he entered college football.

Maybe a Fire LesTJPM all at the same time thread?

Or a Bring Back Pokey Thread

or you could always try the JaMarcus is due for a comeback and I think he'll be a pro-bowler thread to really fit right in
