I see lists of potential names for our new DC. Where’s the list for the other side of the ball? Is there anyone we can get excited about that is a legitimate candidate?

I like Florida’s offensive production. Couple questions I have about this guy:

1. How involved is Mullen? Who calls most of the plays?

2. Would this be a lateral move? Don’t get me wrong, I’ve been to Gainesville, and it’s terrible. But, what would motivate him to come here? It’s not rhetorical; as a Tiger Fan, it’s hard to be objective.

He will be a great OC one day or even head coach, he played at QB @ Utah under Mullen when they beat Alabama in the Sugar Bowl. He then went on to be a grad assistant at MSU and left Mullen for his next job. When Mullen got hired he hired him to be in the box. This year Brian has been making lots of play calls and they have been feeding off of each other on 3rd down. Mullen scheme is really good especially against LSU over the last decade. Brian will be able to develop QBs like Mullen which is what we need

Good eating, PotRoast. Love most of these. I am a diehard Bears fan. Not much to love about their passing game, but then again, the O-line is terrible, and the QB is a travesty. Hard to gauge that one. Love the KC thought. Thanks for the list!

That’s great info. Sounds like he is loyal to Mullen. Or at least, Mullen is loyal to him. Mullen is a great offensive mind. Great pedigree. Sounds like it’d be a good hire if we could steal him.

I’d promote Calloway, and I don’t feel there’s a need for a PGC as preferred to on field coach cuz E is now an analyst. So you’ve still got his voice in there. If anything we need a running game coordinator our run game is so bland

I’d throw Mike LaFleur in there is you’re looking for a dream list from the NFL.

Tom Manning is a name I like a lot.

I wonder how many other big-time programs have a PGC? Is that a new trend? How prevalent is it?

I believe that he helps with the game planning and some plays cause he said so but Mullen calls the vast majority of the plays.

He just promoted him to oc last year. He wouldn't be my first choice but I do agree that he has learned alot under Mullen

He is a former qb and is only 33 with a bunch of experience

A name i haven't seen mentioned is Lebby from ole miss. He had statistically one of the best offenses in the country the year before at UCF. Worth a Look for sure.
